We currently have an opportunity for a Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our on call/relief team. Relief shifts are flexible and work around your availability. Shifts may include, day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Our relief positions require someone who can quickly integrate into our emergency environment so prior veterinary experience is required. Primary responsibilities Our CSRs represent the face of DoveLewis and are crucial to establishing excellent first impressions with clients and visitors. In this position, you will guide clients through all aspects of their visit. This includes greeting and assisting clients, providing them with frequent updates on their pets' condition, and conducting a smooth checkout. You will employ professional telephone etiquette to manage our busy multi-line phone and overhead paging system, including answering questions, taking messages, and routing calls as appropriate. You will assist grieving families with the loss of their pet by explaining the euthanasia process, memorialization options, and our pet loss support services. Attention to detail is critical in this position as you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing payments, donations, financial documents, invoices, reports, and paperwork and entering client/patient records in the veterinary database. Relief CSRs receive a veterinary discount and premium pay for holidays worked. Required Qualifications . Minimum of one year experience working in the veterinary field. . Technical aptitude. Knowledge of computer functions and operating software such as MS Word and Excel. Experience using veterinary software (Cornerstone) is a plus! . Ability to operate multi-line phone system, filing system, imaging program, and office equipment such as copier and fax machine. . Ability to pay close attention to detail, maintain accuracy, and multi-task in a busy environment while maintaining composure and professionalism at all times. .
