Position Purpose: The Business Systems Analyst-Staff is a member of the Digital Channels Sustaining Engineering team, reporting to the Manager, Sustaining Engineering. The multi-discipline Sustaining Engineering team delivers value to customers by maintaining and enhancing Fiserv's online and mobile banking software solutions. Together with the Digital Channels Customer Support and Operations teams, Sustaining Engineering supports and enhances existing products and implementations to ensure high quality software solutions and customer satisfaction. The Business Systems Analyst-Staff (BSA) is a professional with a combination of technical and business analysis skills responsible for collaborating with others to analyze, plan and execute software and infrastructure maintenance projects. The BSA collaborates with others to identify and deliver technically feasible, cost-effective solutions that meet customer expectations. Essential Job Responsibilities: * Perform triage and troubleshooting of issues reported by internal and external customers * Communicate directly with customers to gather information and validate requirements and solutions * Gather and document requirements and high-level estimates for defect fixes and enhancements * Collaborate with stakeholders and development team to define project scope, resources requirements * Coordinate small projects leading to successful delivery of software maintenance releases * Communicate with stakeholders to reduce ambiguity, set expectations and report status * Obtain customer and stakeholder approval to commence projects and confirm customer acceptance * Participate in Agile development activities such as stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration * Act as voice of the customer to Sustained Engineering team The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job, and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities. Required Qualifications: Education: * Bachelor's degree in technical field of study or 5 years of equivalent professional work experience Job Related Experience: * Min of 3 years of Business or Systems analysis experience including some involving large, complex software solutions * Strong technical knowledge and experience working in Software Development teams (in .Net environment) * Microsoft SQL server experience * Strong written and verbal communication skills Additional Skills/Knowledge: * Proven analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to manage time and multiple tasks/projects effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong meeting facilitation and collaboration skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office * Experience with online and mobile banking software * Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum preferred SDL2017
